The Jaguar XKSS was certainly one of the marque's best, most iconic, and sexiest cars. It's based on the chassis of the LeMans winning D-Type, and as a result it bears its sports-bred predecessor's curvaceous and sexy body. We all want to take a ride on that.
Of the 25 XKSSs that Jaguar made in 1957, nine were destroyed in a factory fire, which is probably the saddest thing you'll hear today. The happiest thing you'll hear today is this: Jaguar Special Operations is most likely planning to rebuild those nine cars exactly as they were, according to an interview with Autovise. Yes, there's going to be an XKSS continuation series, and that means that you'll be able to buy a brand new one some time in the near future.
